Some people claim that GoFreelance is not really a valid freelance work community. They claim it is a scam. Are they right?

Let’s face it. Even as early as preschool age, children try to make others look bad to try to make themselves look better. But it rarely works.

However, some people never learn.

Lately, there have been some negative articles on the internet about freelance communities like Go Freelance. However, it appears most of this nonsense has been started by one of two groups.

The first group is in direct competition with them. They don’t want Go Freelance or any other freelance work community signing new members. They know that they charge a lot more to their members and don’t want them to think they may get a better deal elsewhere and leave. So instead of lowering their prices or improving their service, they flood the internet with scam claims.

The second group can’t admit their own short comings. They sign up for sites like GoFreelance, look through the job listings, but go no further. They don’t apply for a job, they don’t post information, but they expect to become a freelancer. It just doesn’t work that way.

So if you are someone in one of those two groups…yes, you won’t like Go Freelance. However, if you are looking for a way to find hundreds of freelance jobs and are willing to put some effort into trying some, you won’t think Go Freelance is a scam. You might just think you got a great deal.
