Avoid the Work at Home Scams
One of the biggest fears of most people looking for work at home is about knowing which jobs are opportunities and which ones are scams. While it can be difficult to distinguish between the two, there are warning flags and some safe bets.

1. If they claim that you will “Get Rich Quick…” then you won’t. Run the other way. If it was so easy to just make money in that situation…why would they share it with you?
2. Do not send money! Legitimate companies do not charge you in order to get hired.
3. Check References. Ask for a list of references if you’re not sure about whether a company is for real. Request a list of other employees or independent contractors to ask questions. Then contact the references to ask how this is working out for them.
4, Be Suspicious of Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) This requires recruiting more and more people to sell the product. Most of them aren’t getting rich (Also remember, that MLM isn’t a job with a paycheck - it’s starting a business and usually takes years to make a profit…if ever.)
